This is what we’ve been waiting for from Carrie! We all knew she could SING but, this is on another level! Each song is just flawless. I thought coming into this that How Great Thou Art would be my favorite, but Softly and Tenderly has stolen the show for me. This album is an all around masterpiece.

I think this genre is what her voice was made for. I wish she would have recorded "In the Garden". It has been my favorite hymn sin I heard Dwight Yoakam perform it at Buck Owens funeral. Maybe the next gospek album.
